Blog Myth Kills Us
Posted on May 28, 2007
I have no clue who Ron Wagner is, but he posted this comment on my blog:
—
“The biggest myth that I know of…if you have a private blog and you make it a sales blog…it will be canceled!
This is not a myth. This is true. Wordpress wants these blogs to be non commercial…and to maintain that…they simply cancel you.
First hand experience is the best. Now you know too.”

My response - you have no clue what you’re talking about.
Ron, stop writing lies. WordPress is no discriminator. Anybody can have a WordPress blog whether it’s personal or business related. Browse through their directory and you’ll convince yourself.
Please, stop believing the myths and stop buying into hype.
I told you before and will repeat - if you host your WordPress blog on your host, WordPress can’t remove or cancel your blog since it’s set-up on your own web host. Period.
Next time think twice before you spread the lies.

Top Blogging Myths
Posted on May 28, 2007
In my last post I talked about two WordPress related myths…
I want to find your opinion about the latest blogging myths you’ve heard of, so my question is this:
“What do you think is the most dangerous blogging myth that can harm your business?”
I’m eager to read your comments - they will help me create a better WordPress related eCourse, blog and product :)
Cheers,
Codrut Turcanu.

The #1 Biggest Benefit of Using WordPress
Posted on May 27, 2007
After you read this short article you will have learned the #1 biggest benefit of using WordPress as your blogging platform.
First of all, let me debug 2 myths now and forever, before it’s too late. My latest posts created a buzz… so I want to post some responses directed to the comments I’ve received about the pros and cons of using WordPress.
David says…
“I would hasten to bring one simple, and important point to your attention . . . before I go any further. I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you that Google are the owners of Blogger. Yes thats right, Google own Blogger.”
#1 Myth - Google Ranks Higher Blogger Blogs
I’m sure Google won’t rank Blogger blogs higher than the others or index them faster than all the other blogs or web sites. That’s a pure baloney fact. Do you really think Google is a discriminator?
Chris says…
“I hate to disagree with everyone, but my experience with the blogger has been much better than wordpress.
I think blogger is alot easier to use and you can easily monetize your site with adsense. And there is nothing wrong with making money, It’s what we are all online to do!”
#2 Myth - WordPress Is Hard To Use
Not at all. WordPress is very easy to use if you play with it for a few hours. It allows more than just AdSense ads, you can put whatever ads you want in there, you can even add an opt-in box to build a list for yourself and make money over and over again from the same subscriber list. Not to mention all the plug-ins you can use and make your blog an ultra-powerful traffic-generator and money-making magnet.
Ok, let’s get back to the aim of this article…
What’s the the #1 biggest benefit of using WordPress?
If your web hosting includes one-click WordPress installation, you’re on good hands.
You own your WordPress blog. You control it. You don’t have to depend on Google and impatiently pray that Google do not remove it from their system…
Yes, I heard a bunch of horror stories (and I’m not the only one telling this) about Blogger blogs being removed or deleted from Blogger database. That’s a shame.
If I can’t control my business, site or blog, I’m going to move on and pick other options.
What about you, you want to be in total control of your web business or you want your business to control you?
HINT - post your comments below…
Update - you can take advantage of WordPress using the same web host I use and have WordPress installed for you with just one mouse-click!
WordPress can’t delete or remove your blog since it’s hosted with your web host account.
Within 72 hours, I’ll create a free mini-course to educate about WordPress.
And early next week I’ll announce my WordPress-related blog, so stay tuned!
